It is my favorite 'off paring' in Sailor Moon as it adds an additional depth to Rini (i refuse her japanese name) and Pluto.

It also serves as a contrast between Pluto and Beryl. While Beryl couldn't accept that she wasn't Endymion's love and killed him for it, Setsuna accepts it and has devoted herself to helping him as a friend.
